OK, so here's my synopsis NOW!

So, here's my synopsis now. What do you think?

A teenage band member/songwriter with writer?s block meets a girl of similar age on an internet chat room and they become friends. They physically meet a few times and their friendship grows. They really feel like they know each other. LOVE???? Soon after the girl dies in a car crash (or similar). The boy is crushed and his mind is screwed up. He is unable to cope and he imagines that he is seeing her in the street, etc. He is so confused and angry that he attempts suicide but fails. He has always been convinced that she did not die and time goes by until he starts getting messages from her (or someone) via the internet again... Is she dead or isn't she? Has she been kidnapped or is she playing some kind of devious psychological game? Why does she toy with him and his emotions like this? He starts to feel like he is going mad and so decides that to understand what is really going on he must track her (or whoever sends the messages) down - but his only aid is the internet.

Should they be in love or maybe one of them holds unrequited love for the other?

And how does it end? I know that its up to me really but I was just wondering what you thought, since you?ve been so useful so far.

Nice idea, especially with the boy and the girl, maybe they could be called Jack and Rose, and this internet thing how about we change that to a boat and this whole car crash how about we havce the boat hitting an iceberg and as a title we can call it Titanic

Alright, rework the entire thing. Keep the idea of the guy w/ the girlfriend dieing but only spend five minutes w/ that crap. Then, practically forget about the girlfriend for the rest of the movie. From there on in the it can be a dark, psychologically disturbing movie. Keep suicide in the movie but I don't know what to do with it. Somehow make it the end of the film. Make it sad though, they dont make any good sad movies anymore. My idea has basically nothing to do with yours but your idea... well, its cheesey. Yeah, cheesey.
